Aeonium spathulatum x urbicum ssp. meridionale is one of the most beautiful interspecific hybrids created by renowned UK botanist; Anthony Riley in my humble opinion....
It is a theoretical hybrid of Aeonium spathulatum & Aeonium urbicum ssp. meriodionale - both of which grow on the island of Tenerife.
They are strong growers with beautiful veining on their leaves which in higher UV levels flesh to a vivid Purple.
We newly introduced these to the UK market in 2024 for the 1st time & expect them to be real collectors plants.
