The 'Hedgehog Agave' is a very unique and beautiful Agave.
Characterized by 100's of fine, mid-Green flexible leaves forming a dense symmetrical crown. Leaves are spineless but have a sharp tip. Slow growing but this Agave suckers easily to create colonies
When the plant is mature enough, a 5-8ft Flower spike may form in Summer producing deep Purple to Red flowers, which last until late Autumn. (the buds are edible).
