Agave xylonacantha is a striking plant that originates from the Mountain dry limestone slopes and valleys on the desert side of the Sierra Madre Orientale at elevations about 900-1000m in the Mexican States of Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosim and Hildalgo.
Usually grows as a single rosette but once mature will usually offset.
Quite a slow growing Agave but really is a striking plant with large, dark teeth whch colour to white as the plant matures.
Rarely grown in cultivation in the UK
Please Note: Succulents change colour throughout the year and the plants we deliver can look different from the pictures. All plants are shipped bare root (without soil).
