Aloe striatula, is a personal favourite here at the Nursery as they are so versatile!
Originating from the high altitude, mountainous regions of South Africa where the Summers are very hot and dry (with temperatures usually in excess of 30°C) and the Winters are often very cold, with frost and snowfall on higher ground - this makes them seriously tough Plants!
Aloe striatula forms a perfect trio of truly hardy UK Aloes with Aloe 'aristata' and Aloe 'polyphylla'.
Left to its own devices it will create a low dense, multi-stemmed, rambling thicket of lush foliage which is highly attractive and even more so when the beautiful Yellow flowers emerge in Summer, held aloft on a thickish stem, much-like a 'Kniphofia'.
It partners particularly well with Yucca 'Rostrata' & Festuca 'Glauca' in an Exotic Planting scheme.
Please Note: Succulents change colour throughout the year and the plants we deliver can look different from the pictures. All plants are shipped bare root (without soil).
