Aloe variegata, aka the 'Tiger Aloe', is a distinctive Aloe from western South Africa and Southern Namibia.
It is easy to see why it is one of the most popular Aloes in cultivation as it makes a stunning house plant. It is far more cold-tolerant than is generally realised and will survive a brief mild frost as it does in California but however should not be considered properly UK Hardy!
Aloe variegata is instantly recognised by its architectural form of its elegant stiff foliage arranged in three separate layers which slowly creates a tall spiral together with the distinctive white variegation on the leaves which forms an attractive irregular transverse banding.
Please Note: Succulents change colour throughout the year and the plants we deliver can look different from the pictures. All plants are shipped bare root (without soil).
