It has stems with flattened, fleshy leaves that are covered with fine White hairs giving it a velvety feel.
They remain Green in shady spots but are best grown with plenty of sunlight where the leaves become tipped with Red whilst Pale Yellow, Star-shaped Flowers are held in small clusters on thin stems once mature.
The plants are native to rocky outcroppings where they live, clinging to surfaces by means of small curved hooks on the ends of their roots.
