Pleiospilos Nelii is a unique-looking flowering succulent from South Africa and is a type of mesemb (a leaf succulent that grows in hot, arid regions, in nutritionally-poor soil).

It is often referred to as the 'Split Rock' Succulent and is usually small and doesn’t grow more than a 8-10cm in height.

It also has small specks on its leaves. These are “windows” which allows sunlight to penetrate into the body of the plant, so it is able to photosynthesize.

It has two to four Grey-Green opposite leaves that have a hemispherical shape with Stone-looking leaves that are separated by a crack or a cleft or as our Girls call them.....'Muppet Faces'!!!

Please Note: Succulents change colour throughout the year and the plants we deliver can look different from the pictures. All plants are shipped bare root (without soil).
